UAV Datalink Model Selection Guide

UAV Datalink developed by sagetown technology is a subset of aircraft datalink product, so in principle all aircraft carried stations and data stations can be used on UAV.

Application Domain: Kinds of multi-rotoring aircraft, fix-wing UAV, unmanned helicopter, guided missiles, guided cannonball, balloon, airship,  floating platform, UGV, robot.

Functionality: Video transmitting, data transmitting, networking, air to ground video, air to ground bidirectional data communication, telemetering and controlling of UAV or aircraft, UAV networking, and UAV relay.

Volume/Weight/Power Consumption：Special design for UAV, low weight(down to 5 grams)、small volume, and low power consumption.

Transmitting Distance（without relay）：0～1Km，6Km，10Km, 20Km,50Km, 100Km, 200Km，240Km.

Video Quality：SD（720×576，25fps）、HD（1080p/i，30/50/60Hz）；Ultra HD will launched soon.

Video delay：Low latency model  45ms, （end to end 100ms），300ms，800ms；End to end delay take camera and display latency.

Data rate：：300bps～230.4Kbps，500Kbps，900Kbps，2Mbps～40Mbps，etc；

Networking：Data link support IP layer networking and link layer networking. Used in networking of air fleet and formation flight

Converged communication: UAV data link can converge with 4G networks. User can watch video using mobile phone or PC.

Doppler Effect：Currently common aircraft’s speed will not impact out products. Please contact Sagetown Technology’s customer support if you need take Doppler effect into account.
